With experience in textiles, and a Diploma of Applied Fashion and Merchandising, Lily is passionate about the process of the handmade and creating pieces that have signs of human hands and the making process.

Her practice explores themes of connection, community and everyday moments as a way of understanding life, experiences and memories. With a passion for process-based mediums, Lily works within printmaking and ceramics.

Lily facilitates creative social events through her initiative thread it together, a community project that meets once a month to work on hand crafts together. Lily creates beautiful spaces and includes morning tea to foster creativity, strengthen community and positively impact mental wellbeing. Lily’s creative practice explores how creativity can be utilised in a wellbeing context to regulate the nervous system, process feelings and improve happiness. Her previous experience, current creative practice and ongoing education ground Lily in a creative arts and wellbeing context.
